Wildcard Silks is the brainchild fashion accessories brand of Katy.
Whilst knee-deep in a couple of decades worth of her own artwork, Katy found herself wishing that she could wear them as beautifully printed, ethically sourced, luxury silk accessories. As no one made such vibrant and playful fashion items, she decided that she would. So she did. And so Wildcard Silks, a name borne from a gin fuelled brain trust, was created.
Each design starts as a rough sketch, refined through experiments in colour and medium. They are inspired by the things she has seen, the things she has experienced and the things she has a vague recollection of.
The aim of Wildcard Silks is to inject some colour, elegance and joie de vivre into the lives of fashion conscious people with quality statement items of British design.
